Director

As the After Care Director, Lexi is looking forward to all of the wonderful changes we have made to the program this year! She knows our students will benefit from the new and improved programming we have developed for them. 

Lexi, an XCP alumna, has her B.S. in Recreational Management as well as Tourism Development and a minor in Communications from Arizona State University. She also holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from​ Grand Canyon University. When she is not at work, Lexi loves to spend time with her husband Warren, her daughter Lucy and her three dogs! She loves being a part of the St. Francis Xavier community.

Assistant Director

My name is Hilary and I am the Assistant Director of the After Care program here at St. Francis Xavier. Additionally,  I am an Aide in Preschool. I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing community and I'm excited for the new activites we have prepared for the kids this year! 

I'm a native to Phoenix. I attended St.Gregory's and graduated from Sunnyslope high school where I was on the varsity swim team. I love watching documentaries and independent films. I am an artist and I enjoy sketching (my favorite color medium is chalk pastel). I enjoy spending time with my rescue pitbull named Harlow and taking her to the dog park. When I'm not at work I am enjoying this beautiful city with friends and family.

 My name is Katie Erickson and I am currently a freshman at Grand Canyon University. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Christian Studies. I am a triplet with two other girls and I also have an eight year old brother. My hobbies include reading, yoga, and hanging out with my family and friends. I look forward to getting to know all of the St. Francis After Care families and seeing what God will do this year.

: I am so excited to be apart of this staff and get to know your child! I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and am entering my third year. I was born in Hawaii, but raised in San Diego. I moved to Arizona to attend college and fell in love with how beautiful it is here. In my free time I enjoy making trips up north and four wheeling. I am also very passionate about children and the important role that education plays in their lives.

My name is Neil Harvey and I am a native Phoenician, I went to Thunderbird high school, got my BA from NAU and I am currently working towards my MBA with an emphasis in Human Resource Management at Grand Canyon University. I currently live with my wonderful girlfriend of 5 years, Krista, and our amazing dog Rucca in a house in north Phoenix. I am lucky enough to live with in 20 minutes of my immediate family and a large portion of my extended family, and love hanging out with them at family functions. I am many friends in the area as well, and still hang out with people I knew back in kindergarten. I am a huge nerd, I love comics, cartoons and any sort of game (card, board, video) and enjoy bowling and would love to roll a perfect 300 some day. A fun fact about me, I recently met actor James Woods while playing in a WSOP event and got him to say one of his lines from Family Guy.

My name is Anahi Escalante, I’m 16 years old - soon to be 17. I attend Xavier College Prep and I am a senior. I love to read and swimming is one of my hobbies. I enjoy working with children and have tons of patience. I am honestly excited to be a part of the Childcare team.

My full name is Benjamin James Drake. I am 17 years old. My birthday is March 19th, 1999. Some of my hobbies are photography, skiing, lacrosse, hiking, off-roading, hunting, and hanging with friends. Some if my dislikes and bad drivers, Legos, and scorpions. I have been working at St. Francis for the past two years.

My name is Betzaira Landa or Betzy for short. I’m 17 years old and currently a Senior at Xavier College Preparatory. I am a very creative, organized, and well planned out individual, who enjoys volunteering, reading, and DIY activities. I hope to encourage the love for learning in a fun and stimulating environment. I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with each and everyone of the children!

Hi my name is Celina Duran and I am a Junior at Xavier College Prep. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. At school I am part of Spanish Club, Unity and Diversity Club, and Key Club. When I am not at school I like to spend time with my family, learn new recipes, and go on long walks with my dogs. I love learning and experiencing different things.

Hi my name is Esmeralda Landa, I’m 15 years old and go to xavier college preparatory. I'm a dedicated person when it comes to work and being a student. An organized person who encourages other to believe in themselves. I like to have fun and encourage kids to do the same. I am looking forward to start this upcoming year to encourage to kids to learn and grow in a fun learning environment.

Hello, my name is David and I am currently a Junior at Brophy College Preparatory. One of my hobbies is playing soccer as well as watching it. My other hobbies are participating in Best Buddies and learning different languages. I have volunteered at daycares in a shelter for single mothers and have volunteered at a middle school tutoring the 6th and 7th graders.

My name is Mayra Martinez and I am 17 years old. I am a Senior at Xavier College Preparatory. I like to read when I have the the time. I also teach little kids on the weekends at my local church. I am very excited to apart of the team for my final year in Highschool.

My name is Nubia De Leon and I am currently a senior at Xavier College Preparatory. This will be my second year working at After Care and I look forward to meeting new kids and welcoming back the old. I love taking part in making Melty Beads with the kids and also playing a good game of Four Square. Aside from working at After Care, I love spending quality time with my friends and family. I love volunteering and also tutoring kids who need help in their homework or school projects.

Hi my name is Payton, I'm 17 and I attend Xavier College Preparatory. My hobbies pertain to outdoor activities such as; hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. My favorite subject is English and I have a lot of interest in politics.

My name is Sammy Deleon. I currently attend Brophy College Preparatory and will graduate this oncoming year. I plan to attend to an out-of-state university for all four years to study biomedical engineering. My favorite interests are sports such as basketball, football, etc. I enjoy being active all day rather than being dormant at home. On a more school-related interest, I adore both subjects of mathematics and science. In the past, I have volunteered at my elementary school to tutor 3rd-5th graders for a couple of months. I enjoy the spirit that kids bring and I intend to express my joy as well with them.
